Toys
Toys are essential to the well being of any parrotlet whether it is a pet or breeder. Have at least five or six different toys in the cage. Some favorites are swings, rings, and a plastic slinky. I highly recommend toys that are chewable.
Every time you look in the cage, make sure the bird is not caught on a toy.
