I saw my first parrotlet in 1985 and knew that I just had to have one. I purchased two parrotlets from a breeder in Phoenix and my love affair with them began. I started breeding them the next year and have bred all of the parrotlet species since that time.
A few years ago I decided to specialize in the green rump parrotlet. In my
opinion they make the sweetest, most lovable pet of all the parrotlet
species. Parrotlets are not noisy and make the perfect pet bird. I
handfeed all of the babies from day 11. Every baby is raised with tons of
toys and great nutrition and I believe that each bird needs to be well
socialized. They are raised in my kitchen with all of the family noises
and the dogs barking. Every baby is spoiled rotten.
